LOGICROOF is the line of synthetic single-ply waterproofing membranes made with modern production facilities and innovative technologies.
LOGICROOF membranes can be made of PVC or FPO (TPO) with very high performance and durability. LOGICROOF blankets ensure reliability during application, combined with effective weldability.
Welding, using hot air, constitutes true molecular fusion and cohesion, resistant to hydraulic pressures and thermal and mechanical stresses. With the LOGICROOF system, continuous, totally airtight waterproofing of roofs and civil engineering works can be achieved.
The products are also available in a “White Reflecta” version, in which the top layer is made of a special white bulk compound, which provides excellent SRI (Solar Reflectance Index). This finish reduces the “heat island” effect by lowering the surface temperature of the roof by more than 50 percent and, consequently, also the interior temperature of the building.
LOGICROOF synthetic membranes are quick and easy to apply. In addition, the installation can be carried out in any season and temperature.
LOGICROOF roofing systems are also highly valued for safety during installation, as sheet welding is carried out by automatic machines, without the use of open flames and with easy-to-use instrumentation.
In addition, this technology ensures very strong welding of all joints, resulting in continuous and homogeneous waterproofing.
Synthetic membranes from the LOGICROOF line with the white reflective finish “White Reflecta” have been tested by the independent US institute PRI, obtaining a solar reflection index (SRI) with a value of 102. This value is twice as high as that of light gray membranes and 10 times higher than that of dark or black membranes.
LOGICROOF membranes in the standard white version have an SRI value of 82.
High SRI values result in significant reflection of the sun’s rays, greatly reducing building cooling costs.
For this reason, LOGICROOF membranes in White colorations are recommended for use in buildings designed according to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards, as they significantly exceed the minimum requirements of this protocol.
The excellent quality of LOGICROOF brand materials has been tested by independent and international certification institutes.
LOGICROOF single-ply membranes comply with European standard EN 13956 for waterproofing roofing.
The high fire resistance of LOGICROOF membranes is confirmed by testing in accordance with BRoof (t1), BRoof (t2), BRoof (t3) classes. Fire resistance tests according to EN1187 are used to determine the fire performance rating of roofs and roofing exposed to external fire based also on the roof structure, its slope, the presence of wind and heat exposure. These texts demonstrate how these materials behave in the presence of fire under realistic conditions.
The main causes of aging of roofing products are due to the outdoor environment, in fact, U.V. rays cause the deterioration of PVC polymer molecules, activating the process of photoxidation. LOGICROOF membranes are produced with the best modern technology using only quality raw materials.
The BBA Agrément certificate refers to LOGICROOF’s Total Warm Roof and Total Green Roof Systems, a range of PVC waterproofing membranes, insulation boards and vapor control layers (VCLs) for use on flat and pitched warm roofs with limited or pedestrian access and with suitable protection, including green roofs.
