The University of Bari, founded in 1925 and among the most important in southern Italy, comprises 12 different faculties, with within them respective departments dedicated to the most important academic disciplines such as economics, natural sciences, mathematics, social sciences, literature, medicine, law and education sciences.
In order to increase energy efficiency, the useful life of buildings and the relative well-being for users, the college periodically carries out planned maintenance and efficiency upgrading works on facilities using the best and most advanced solutions available. The main purpose of this renovation was the resurfacing of the waterproofing membrane and subsequent thermal insulation.

Thanks to the effective cooperation of our sales network in the area with the relevant technical studies, an optimal technical solution was designed and proposed, avoiding the cost of removing the previous waterproofing membrane, which, after due preparation of the laying plans, remained in place as the basic element of the planned new double-layer waterproofing.
Careful evaluation and assistance at all levels of development of the work-from the design of all elements of the roofing to on-site assistance for the execution phase-will ensure long and effective usability of the facilities and a significant reduction in operating costs for the university and students.
