It is therefore with pleasure that we inform you that we have obtained EN ISO 14021:2016 SELF-DECLARED ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION OF PRODUCTS.
Specifically, the EN ISO 14021:2016 standard evaluates the following areas for the BITUMINOUS MEMBRANES we produce:
- PRODUCT RECYCLABILITY
- POST-CONSUMER RECYCLED CONTENT
- REDUCED USE OF RESOURCES
- WASTE REDUCTION
The purpose of this statement is therefore to inform the market about the characteristics and environmental performance of our bituminous membranes, with the main objective of fostering-through comparability between similar products-a constant improvement of the products by providing our customers and all designers with detailed information regarding the environmental characteristics of the membranes.
In particular, we bring to your attention. attention that with this certification we can declare compliance with the requirements of the current Italian legislation of the MINISTERIAL DECREE of 11 JANUARY 2017 that establishes the MINIMUM ENVIRONMENTAL CRITERIA for the contracting of design and works services for the new construction, renovation and maintenance of buildings for the management of public administration construction sites: Excerpt from the section “Technical specifications of building components” “The list of materials consisting, even partially, of recovered or recycled materials and their weight in relation to the total weight of materials used for the building. The percentage of recycled material shall be demonstrated by means of a Type III environmental declaration in accordance with UNI EN 15804 and ISO 14025 or a manufacturer’s environmental assertion in accordance with ISO 14021, verified by a conformity assessment body, certifying compliance with the criteria.”
Therefore, such certification is essential to successfully participate in public procurement!
