Fiberglass is a roll-fed material made of randomly positioned monofibers bonded together by a synthetic binder. The material has high mechanical strength and is decay- and weather-resistant. Fiberglass is used as a separation layer between extruded polystyrene foam and PVC-membrane or as a reinforcing base during the installation of mastic roof waterproofing. Fiberglass is not compatible with cement, therefore it cannot be installed directly on a concrete base or cement/sand underlayment.
Delivered in rolled mats.
